Garlic Sauté Sauce (inspired by Toum)
My garlic sauce recipe is derived from my attempt to make toum. Although not emulsified, I decided to keep the yield and it worked out well. This sauce comes in handy for the times I need to cook a quick meal. It is similar concept to the bottled garlic you find at the grocery stores but this is homemade, versatile, and is way more flavorful.
INGREDIENTS:
1 cup Garlic cloves
2 tsp Sea Salt
3 cups Grapeseed oil
1/4 cup Lemon juice
INSTRUCTIONS:
Blend all ingredients together.
Pour into sauce bottles and store in the refrigerator or freezer.
Serve as needed. This oil is great for sauteing vegetables, meats, and even pasta or rice.
