Ginger Tea
INGREDIENTS:
2 cups Oat flour (or ground rolled oats)
2 tsp Baking powder
1/8 cup Coconut oil (or 1/4 cup butter)
8 ripe dates (blended with 1/4 cup water) or 1/2 cup cane sugar
1/2 cup water
4 tea bags of black tea
3 tbsp minced ginger (or as needed)
1/4 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Turmeric
Powdered sugar (optional)
INSTRUCTIONS:
Soak tea bags and ground ginger in hot water for 4 minutes. Take out tea bags and squeeze excess tea into cup. Filter out ginger and retain tea.
Add the tea to all the ingredients in a large bowl and mix into a batter.
Distribute the batter in a muffin pan. Bake in oven preheated to 350F for 27 mins. Dust with powdered sugar and serve them hot or chilled.
